Result of the Referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan

The Parish Council and Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group would like to thank all those who participated in the recent Neighbourhood Plan Referendum, and we are pleased to announce that the Plan received an overwhelming “Yes” vote. The results were as follows: Yes 92.5%, No 7.5%, Turnout 25.1%. The Plan will now go through a number of final steps over the next few weeks before it is adopted or “made” by SKDC. It will then become part of the Statutory Development Plan for our area and help decide future planning applications.
