South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) are currently consulting on their draft Local Plan which is intended to define development policies for our area up to 2041. Any comments on the Plan must be submitted to SKDC by end Thursday 25th April 2024.

According to the draft Local Plan (pages 203-206) the triangle field (SKPR-247, above) on the north side of Bourne Rd, east of St. John’s Drive, Walsingham Drive & Barn Owl Close, is down as a proposed residential allocation for 144 dwellings. This is in addition to the 3 recent developments. Corby Glen Neighbourhood Planning Group and Corby Glen Parish Council are currently formulating their responses.
