MINUTES: CORBY GLEN PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 1st September 2020 at 7.30pm using video conferencing.
Present: Cllrs Lamming (Chair), Collins, Fowler, Fox, Hargreaves, Parker & Walsingham
In attendance: Cllr N Robins,Mrs S Woodman, Parish Clerk

3. Matters to be further discussed at this meeting:
To consider Planning Application S20/1239 (New Dwelling to land R/O 16 High Street, Corby Glen).
Concern was expressed about the size of the dwelling in relation to the size of the plot, and the possible impact of additional traffic on the already congested High Street.
As the application refers to previous HGV traffic using this land, albeit some time ago, increased traffic is not grounds for objection.
Concern was expressed for the wellbeing of the elderly resident of the neighbouring property.
Given the criteria to be applied when raising objections to a planning application, the council did not believe it had grounds for objection.
It was agreed that the council would not raise objection to this planning application: 5 for, 1 against, 1 abstention.
