Minutes of Meeting 3 September 2026
The Corby Glen Neighbourhood Plan, prepared and submitted by the Corby Glen Neighbourhood Plan Group (CGNPG), was formally “made” (adopted) by South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) on 29 February 2024, following a 92.5% vote in favour.
The Plan is now undergoing its statutory review by the CGNPG. The review will take into consideration recent developments, proposals and other matters that may have a direct impact on the Corby Glen community.
As part of this process, the CGNPG is holding a series of meetings the next of which is on the 29 September 2026, to be held at 7.00pm at the Willoughby Memorial Trust Gallery, to which all interested parties are warmly invited to attend.
The meeting provides an opportunity for residents and other interested parties to share their views, comments and suggestions. All contributions will be carefully considered as part of the process of updating and finalising the proposed amendments to the Plan.

Planning Permission request S26/0979, the 144 house planning application by Muller to build houses accessed from the A151 at the Green has been rejected by SKDC. This may not be the end as an appeal to the secretary of state is quite likely.

The changes to the stage 1 consultation are just firming up the pylon route and the location of the substation and two construction compounds on the A151. I urge you all to register your views as no comment will not help SKDC planning make a case.
SKDC Local plan for Corby Glen to 2036 is the most recent local plan published on the SKDC website.
An SKDC Cabinet meeting was held on the 21st July 2026, where it resolved to cease work on the South Kesteven District Council Local Plan Review. Cabinet also resolved to transition to the new plan-making system, and approved an indicative timetable for the preparation of a new Local Plan as set out below, scheduled to be Adopted in August 2029.
Currently the SKDC site is not showing the draft plan but below is a map showing development sites SKPR233 and SKPR247 which were on the draft local plan before it was withdrawn.
