- The implications of the announcement that the SKDC’s local plan is being postponed while the local authority reorganisation is on-going, was discussed and a delay of at least one year is anticipated.
- The Neighbourhood Plan update is now featured on the parish council website and the Corby Glen face book page requesting comments from the public and inviting attendance at the meetings.
- The Parish Council website still has information about the first issue, this will be removed. It is hoped that general planning information will be displayed in the Neighbourhood Planning section of the Corby Glen Website, the exact format to be confirmed.
- The incorporation of AI advice is ongoing and has been found to be useful.
- Document references:
- Where SKDC references exist the use of TBA will be used until the new local authority has a name and functioning website.
- Where National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) references are used their equivalents must be located possibly with the help of AI.
- Most government references are still correct but will need to be checked.
- All future documents will be circulated in PDF format for ease of use.
- A hard copy of the ongoing revision will be available at the next meeting for discussion and ongoing revision.
The next meeting is on the 29 September 2026 7pm at the Willoughby Gallery.
