Anglian Water has been in touch with all 3 developers Nottingham Community Housing Association, Alison Homes and David Wilson Homes.
All 3 developers say their equipment is working correctly and is up to the standard for adoption by Anglian Water.
There has also been talk of chemical injection to stop the smell/septicity. It is unclear if this injection will be temporary or permanent.
Hopefully the rising mains from the 3 developments and the sewer down Swinstead Road will be flushed and odour monitors will be installed within the next 3 weeks.
We are still trying to find out what information the Telemetry is giving and who will be monitoring it in the long term.
There is a planning application S24/1296 raised to change the routing of the Orchard Estate sewage from Barn Owl Close to Swinstead Road.
Nick Robins has requested that the decision be made an open session.
Alicia Kearns is going to arrange a meeting between the Parish Council and SKDC to discuss the issues.
